I met with the beautiful people of Long Creek & Yarakabra, along the Soesdyke highway today. We discussed their issues for hours. Coal Mining and Logging were the main sources of income in this community and the government's implementation of the Low Carbon Development Strategy has left this community without income. They are economically frustrated.

However they are hopeful and have dreams. Mr Headly(yellow shirt), dreams of having a concrete block factory that employs 200 people within their communities. He feels with Dr. Faith's vision, she can make his dream a reality.
